Nutrition made simple

At Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant, we believe in a well-balanced diet made from wholesome ingredients. We know that eating right is important to you and your family, so whether you’re looking for more protein, trying to cut fat, or just want to enjoy more vegetables at each meal, we can help you make the right choice. We’ve carefully crafted our menu to offer a wide range of choices across our signature seafood, salads, and side dishes.

Fish and seafood are high-quality proteins packed with vitamins and nutrients that your body needs, which makes them a key component in a healthy, balanced diet. Studies have shown that eating fish regularly can help improve your mood, protect against certain cancers, and even combat premature aging of the skin. Additionally, research consistently shows that the Omega-3 fatty acids found in some fish, such as salmon, provide important health benefits, including reduced risk of heart attacks, strokes, and Alzheimer’s disease. If that’s not enough encouragement to enjoy your favorite seafood, both the American Heart Association and the USDA recommend eating fish twice a week. At Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant, we can offer you numerous ways to get your fill.

In addition to our classic fish made from deep water Alaskan Pollock, our seafood menu includes a variety of lighter entrees like our skewered shrimp, grilled tilapia, and wild Alaskan salmon. And when it comes to nutritious side dishes and salads, we’ve got you covered. Pair your favorite entree with our Southern-style green beans, steamed broccoli, baked potato, or crisp side salad, and you’ve got a great tasting meal you can feel good about.

Here you’ll find all of our nutritional information for the seafood and side dishes you love.

Nutritional Information for Captain D’s March 2014

MenuTrinfo, LLC provides nutritional label information by reverse ingredient look-up using reputable data references based on the FDA accepted USDA Nutrient Database SR-22.  (www.ars.usda.gov).  We provide nutrition value estimates based on the information provided by various suppliers that represents a wide range of actual values.  Though this is inherently a subjective process, we always assert our best efforts to maintain compliance with the industry standard according to the FDA and any and all current Menu Labeling laws in place at the time of this analysis.  In addition, actual values may vary due to factors such as individual preparation of our menu items. We based the values on a standard recipe guide. The information displayed may vary from the actual values because of rounding and slight differences in the preparation of products at each restaurant. Nutritional information for specific salad dressing appears on the back of each salad dressing packet. We based the nutrient values for our beverages based on cups about one-third filled with ice. Values may differ depending on the amount of ice in the beverage cup. Sodium values will vary depending on the amount of sodium in the water supply for each restaurant. This information applies to our company-owned Captain D's restaurants. Some of our franchised Captain D's restaurants may use different ingredients in the preparation of some of their menu items. Those differences may affect the nutritional values.
