At Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant, we’re serious about serving great food—and great food begins with the highest quality ingredients. We go to great lengths to ensure that only the best fish, seafood, poultry, and vegetables wind up on your plate. Our procurement team, regularly travels the globe in search of the best ingredients. We seek out the best of the best, and we’ll travel to get it—whether that means vegetables and poultry from right here in the heartland of the U.S.A., wild salmon from Alaska, shrimp from the Gulf, or other types of fish and seafood from the Atlantic and Pacific oceans.
Once selected, our primary suppliers undergo extensive certifications by independent third-party inspectors, as well as regular audits by our own internal team, to ensure quality and safety. Our attention to detail continues all the way through to the restaurant level, where we also conduct regular spot checks to ensure we’re receiving—and serving—only the best.
But we don’t just stop there. Unlike many other restaurants, we make your freshly prepared meal right when you order it. We hand-batter and hand-bread your favorite fish meals, and we prepare many of our classic side dishes—including hush puppies, coleslaw, and broccoli—fresh each day. We season your meals to order, and grilled, broiled, and steamed items come straight from the stove to your plate. Sure, we’re known for fast service—but we never sacrifice quality for speed.
